Join IEM and Asfalis for a discussion on the experiences and responsibilities of emergency managers, law enforcement, and private sector leaders during times of civil unrest and protest. Curtis Brown, State Director of the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, Chief Chris Hsiung, Chief of Police for the Mountain View Police Department in California, and Daniel Alexander, Director of Security Operations for Comcast/NBC Universal-West Division, will be sharing the lessons they have learned as leaders during civil unrest, and how their organizations are developing a sustainable approach to addressing inequality in their diverse communities.
