IEM President and CEO, Bryan Koon, Honored with The News Service of Florida Impact Award

His leadership continues to inspire forward-thinking innovation, as he works with organizations like the Federal Alliance for Safe Homes (FLASH)— a Tallahassee-based national organization dedicated to strengthening homes and safeguarding families— to encourage leaders to adopt measures that reduce vulnerabilities and enhance long-term recovery efforts.
Under Koon’s guidance, the IEM team has played a vital role in helping Floridian’s recover from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Leveraging a team of subject matter experts—many of whom call Florida home— Koon ensures IEM remains a trusted leader in disaster recovery and resilience.
