Our History
Founded in 1985, IEM was one of the first companies in the world to focus exclusively on emergency management. Our founder recognized a critical need to integrate science and objectivity into public protection, transitioning preparedness from a subjective foundation to one built on rigorous quantitative data. That pioneering vision from over 40 years ago established the company as a leader in helping government agencies and the private sector protect lives and property. Since its inception, IEM has expanded its expertise beyond emergency management and disaster recovery to offer a comprehensive suite of solutions that strengthen homeland security, enhance public health, safeguard critical infrastructure, and provide high-performance, accessible digital services.
