Victoria Barton
Disaster Recovery Business Development Manager, Former HUD Chief of Staff to the Deputy Secretary
Ms. Barton brings leadership experience in disaster recovery, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs, and government relations. As former Chief of Staff to the Deputy Secretary at HUD, she supported the management of $37 billion in Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funding for recovery efforts following Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria, and other disasters in 2017. She advised senior HUD leadership on sensitive issues and complex tasks, strengthening stakeholder relations and program outcomes.
Ms. Barton also served as Director of Strategic Communications in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs at the Department of Defense, where she was recognized for her exceptional public service in advancing legislative and acquisition reform initiatives.
Most recently, Ms. Barton applied her program management expertise as Deputy Program Manager for a U.S. Treasury Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) program, providing critical support to homeowners experiencing financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. With a proven track record in disaster recovery and public policy, she delivers strategic guidance that helps organizations meet their recovery and resiliency objectives.
