IEM’s Louisiana Office in Top 5 Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, October 15, 2015 – The Baton Rouge, Louisiana office of IEM, a global security consulting firm dedicated to building a safe, secure, and resilient world, was named one of the top 5 Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge. The awards program is a project of the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report, the Greater Baton Rouge SHRM, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management, and Best Companies Group. The program identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places of employment in Baton Rouge.
At the national level, 41% of employees report being engaged at work. Among the 2015 Baton Rouge Best Places to Work awardees, 91% of employees report being engaged. IEM is proud and honored that the level of workforce engagement of our Baton Rouge employees has been recognized within the local business community.
The two-part application process included a confidential employee survey to measure the employee experience, and an evaluation of workplace policies, practices, and demographics. The combined scores determined the top companies and final rankings.
Factors contributing to IEM’s high ranking include strong scores in core focus areas of leadership and planning; corporate culture; role satisfaction; work environment; relationship with supervisor; development and resources; benefits; and overall engagement.
