IEM is Recognized as a “Best Place to Work” in Baton Rouge

Honored to be on the list for the eighth consecutive year

(Baton Rouge, LA) October 6, 2022 — IEM was named one of the 2022 Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge. The company was ranked No. 2 in the large employer category and 5th overall in the greater Baton Rouge metropolitan area.

The program is a collaboration between Best Companies Group; the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report; and the Greater Baton Rouge SHRM, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management. The program was created in 2014 to spotlight the best places of employment in Baton Rouge that benefit the region’s economy, workforce, and businesses.

IEM has climbed the list since first participating in 2015. In the first three years, IEM finished 5th, 9th, and 7th, all in the small to medium-sized company category. In 2018, IEM moved into the large company category and placed 11th, 10th, 14th, and 6th in the past four years respectively.

“Thank you to the outstanding team in Baton Rouge, the place where it all started for IEM,” said IEM Founder, President, and CEO Madhu Beriwal. “The IEM team takes pride in creating a positive atmosphere where employees can thrive and help further the company’s mission to create a safe, secure, and resilient world.”

Best Companies Group evaluated the companies based on eight core focus areas: leadership and planning; corporate culture and communications; role satisfaction; work environment; employees’ relationships with supervisors; training, development, and resources; pay and benefits; and overall employee engagement.

Each company went through a two-part process. The first part assessed each company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.

Best Companies Group oversaw the registration and survey process in Baton Rouge, analyzed the data, and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
