October 23, 2024, Arlington, VA – As communities embark on their journey to recovery, IEM International, Inc., a trusted leader in emergency management and disaster recovery, stands unwavering in its commitment to delivering essential relief and support to those hardest hit by the recent storms. Today, we are proud to announce a donation of $10,000 to the 2024 Southwest Virginia Disaster Relief Fund administered by the United Way of Southwest Virginia to support residents recovering from Hurricane Helene.
We recognize the devastation left across the Southeast and support our government, nonprofit, and private sector partners in our shared mission to rebuild impacted communities. As Hurricane Helene hits close to home, IEM is leveraging its strong presence in the Commonwealth to actively support their response and recovery efforts, reaffirming our dedication to helping communities rebuild and recover stronger.
“Our team stands with the people of Virginia as they navigate the challenges of recovery after Hurricane Helene,” said Bryan Koon, IEM President and CEO. “We are proud to support the Commonwealth’s response and look forward to contributing to Virginia’s ongoing recovery.”
“Virginia has always held a special place for IEM, and in this time of need, we are committed to being a part of the solution,” said Madhu Beriwal, IEM Founder and Chairwoman. “Our thoughts are with the families and communities facing the difficult task of recovery; we are honored to help them rebuild and move forward.”
“We are incredibly thankful to IEM for responding to the call for support for our neighbors who have experienced unimaginable loss throughout Southwest Virginia as a result of Hurricane Helene.
