Organize Your Neighborhood

Take these steps to help protect your neighborhood

  1. Map potential resources in your neighborhood by reaching out to neighbors through a phone call, email, video chat.
  2. If you go to their doors, knock or ring the bell, and then stand 6 feet or a minimum of two and a half arm length’s back.
  3. Identify in your neighborhood which neighbors possess different skills. Who are your mechanics, your electricians, your doctors, your counselors, that others can reach out to for help and advice?
  4. If a neighbor develops any symptoms or becomes ill, figure out a plan to drop off necessary supplies in their driveway so they don’t have to go the grocery store?
  5. Communicate online through Nextdoor to stay up-to-date with neighbors and local officials.
