Take these steps to help protect your neighborhood
- Map potential resources in your neighborhood by reaching out to neighbors through a phone call, email, video chat.
- If you go to their doors, knock or ring the bell, and then stand 6 feet or a minimum of two and a half arm length’s back.
- Identify in your neighborhood which neighbors possess different skills. Who are your mechanics, your electricians, your doctors, your counselors, that others can reach out to for help and advice?
- If a neighbor develops any symptoms or becomes ill, figure out a plan to drop off necessary supplies in their driveway so they don’t have to go the grocery store?
- Communicate online through Nextdoor to stay up-to-date with neighbors and local officials.
